Sotero "BG 183" Ortiz was born in the South Bronx, New York in 1963.In the early 1980's he discovered his preferred medium was spray paint and later become part of TATS CRU.His work has been shown at Smithsonian Folklife Festival, The Bronx Museum of Art, Lord and Taylor, in movies, music videos and the World of Coca Cola in Atlanta, Georgia.
